The platform

The platform, in full.

Three integrated pillars. One project file. Every module connected — so a change to the schedule ripples through cost, fleet, labour, and cash flow without a spreadsheet rebuild.

// Pillar 01 — MEO Design

Design the mine, not the spreadsheet.

Build the capital project as a graph of components on a canvas. Every component — orebody, pit, decline, drives, stockpile, plant — has parameters. Every parameter feeds the calculations downstream.

Pull CAD geometry in from DXF and visualise in 3D. Load block models and query resource grades directly. Visibility groups let you compare scenarios without duplicating the model.

  • Component-based canvas with full mine topology
  • DXF import with 3D builder and layer management
  • Block-model loader, query engine, and grade visualiser
  • Visibility groups for side-by-side scenario comparison
  • One .meo project file — the single artefact for the whole study

// MDC Canvas Orebody Open Pit Decline Drives DXF / 3D Block Model project.meo

One file. One model.

The .meo project file.

Every study is a single .meo project file. Open it, run it, hand it over, archive it. It contains the geometry, parameters, schedule, cost basis, and results — nothing lives in a side spreadsheet. Versioned by your team, auditable by anyone.

Your .meo files are yours. They open without a network call. Your data never leaves your environment.
Every parameter is traceable from input to IRR. When the board asks why the number moved, the answer is in the file.
// Pillar 02 — MEO Schedule & Operate

One schedule. Every downstream number, live.

Run the mining simulation and grade, ore-processing, stockpile, fleet and labour update with it. Move a phase, and the cash flow moves with it — no rebuild, no reconciliation.

The scheduling engine is time-phased and batch-capable. Grade profiles and HTML heatmaps visualise what moves through the plant at every period. Fleet sizing is tied to the tonnes moved, not a separate spreadsheet.

  • Time-phased mining simulation with batch-run capability
  • Grade profiles and heatmaps across time and space
  • Ore-processing and stockpile component modelling
  • Blending, rehandle, and drawdown logic for stockpiles
  • Fleet sizing, productivity, and utilisation calculations
  • Crew composition, efficiency, and roster modelling

// Pillar 03 — MEO Cost & Decide

Cost it. Discount it. Defend it.

Opex and capex flow from the model, not from a side spreadsheet. Equipment selection drives cost. Schedule drives volume. NPV and IRR are first-class outputs — not pasted from a separate financial model.

Results aggregate across all active modules: charts, summaries, pivot tables, and file exports — everything you need for a board-ready study without a separate deck-building exercise.

  • Component equipping drives opex and capex calculations
  • Cash flow model with configurable discount rate
  • NPV and IRR as first-class, connected outputs
  • Results aggregation: charts, tables, and file viewer
  • PowerPoint and Excel exports direct from the model
  • Audit trail: every number traceable to an input parameter
